GETTING A RESIDENTIAL SEWER PERMIT

Truckee Sanitary District issues roughly 150-200 residential sewer permits per year.

Please read the timeline below for more information on how to obtain a permit.

CONTRACTOR HAS BUILDING PERMIT

After Contractor has obtained a Building Permit, TSD requires TWO SEPARATE CHECKS.

FIRST CHECK to TSD for $1,650

Written out to Truckee Sanitary District or TSD in the amount of $1,650

Fees Include:
$750 Connection Fee
$200 Inspection Fee
$600 Seal Cap Deposit
$100 User Fee Deposit
*A $250 Supplemental Residential Pump Inspection fee will be charged at final processing for properties served by a
residential sewer pump system.

SECOND CHECK to TAHOE TRUCKEE SANITATION AGENCY (T-TSA)

Written out to Tahoe Truckee Sanitation Agency (T-TSA)

T-TSA Base Fee - $1,500 PLUS $1.75 x Building Permit Square Footage.

Example: If the building permit square footage is 2,400sq ft. the amount to T-TSA would be $1,500 + 1.75 x 2400 = $5,700
